Planning is something I love to do; it’s part of my perfectionism.
I like to know what I am doing and where I am going which is the same for what I blog about.
So where do I see Wellness & Wander going in 2018?
I would love for my blog to be a helpful resource for my readers. Somewhere they can escape to in order to not feel alone, to not feel judged and read something helpful/motivating/inspiring to lift them up.
I started this blog in February 2017 and wasn’t sure of the exact direction I wanted to go in. I knew I was into my fitness so that was always something I was going to blog about. I did a few reviews which I categorised into Lifestyle and I loved travel so I decided to create a third category for that.
I do love travel and it something I am always so eager to do, however am I passionate about writing about travel? No I’m not. I wrote about my trips to Dubrovnik and Sweden but my heart didn’t seem 100% in it. So this year I have removed the Travel category from my blog.
I started being more open about my mental health and it made me feel good. It felt like therapy to write it down and get it out there, and when others would comment or message me telling me they feel the same and that they can relate to what I think and feel it made me feel less alone and that opening up could really help others out there.
So what are my plans for Wellness & Wander?
I want my blog to ultimately connect both physical and mental wellness. Feeling good and healthy is something I ultimately aim for, and I want others to join me on that journey. There is a lot of rubbish out there on the internet regarding fitness and health and I want to help dispel the bullshit.
I hope people can read my experiences and not feel so alone. I want people to find help on my blog, even if it is a slight comfort. Knowing my content could help someone out there is the main thing for me.
