Wellness & Wander Turns 1: A Year Of Blogging

Today marks 365 days of blogging for me, and it has been a bit of a whirlwind.

I started my blog last year when I was in a pretty low place. I was hurting and had relapsed pretty dramatically into a depressive episode and, if I am being honest, I didn’t really know if I wanted to be here.

This is where blogging came into my life. It was my escape and a way to have my own little bubble away from what was going on around me.

From there it kind of took off for me! I found it therapeutic and it was a chance to write about what I love. I want to help other people and I have been able to do this through my blog which is out of this world. I have also met some pretty amazing people along the way and had some great opportunities which would never have happened if I hadn’t of taken the plunge to start.

Blogging has helped me gain control over my life again and it has kept my grounded through one of the hardest times of my life. It has saved me in a way, and taught me so much about myself.
